The light heavyweight division finally has a new champion Jamal Hill Defeated Clover Teixeira On Saturdays UFC 283 Main event.
Hill (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) claimed the vacant 205-pound strap, winning a unanimous decision over Teixeira (33-9 MMA, 16-7 UFC), who has since retired from MMA. A Per-View headliner, it took place at the Junis Arena in Rio de Janeiro.
With the win, Hill became the 18th fighter to hold the light heavyweight belt.
