‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Bands’ Cast Reunites

We are gathered here today to celebrate the magical gift bestowed upon us: a Sister of the Traveling Bands Reunion!

“Sisterhood came in pink to celebrate my performance Barbie Last night,” Ferreira she captioned her Instagram post. “I love these girls with all my heart.”



Even though it’s been 15 years since the last film, Sisterhood is still going strong off-screen. In 2018, Ferrera shared an Instagram snapshot of the quartet celebrating her pregnancy news. to write“Starting the new year with the blessing of my brotherhood.”


The actors told EW in 2013 that they only became closer a few years after filming the original movie.


“We’ve been a part of each other’s lives in really meaningful ways beyond making a movie together,” Ferreira said. “We made a movie together because our friendship was created from so many other experiences. Our friendship started with this beautiful movie that meant so much to all of us, our lives and our careers and our friendship, for which we are forever grateful.”

At the time, Ferrera also expressed his hopes for a third film. “The Fifth Book [Sisterhood Everlasting] It picks up 10 years after the fourth book, so the characters are all basically the age we are now,” he said. “I know the four of us would love to [to make another film]That would be wonderful.


Speaking to EW in 2017, Tamblyn confirmed that the third film “has been in development for a while” and added, “I have high hopes that it will happen soon.”
