Gleb Savchenko and Brooks Nader weren’t shy after sharing a kiss Dancing with the stars Rehearsal.
Ahead of their quick take on Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5,” viewers watched rehearsal footage of Kleb and Brooks, including a tender moment when the partners shared a kiss.
“We got into character,” Brooks tells PEOPLE after the show.
Gleb, 41, reiterates that the pair were “rehearsing” for their performance. However, he admits that things between them are getting closer and closer.
“When we’re dancing with each other five hours a day, we’re really up close and personal, and if she’s into that, we create that kind of chemistry,” he says. “It’s natural, and it’s awesome. We hang out, it’s a good time, living life.”
Brooks, 27, backed her up, saying, “It’s amazing,” and Gleb adds, “It’s great.”
Speaking of the whole experience, Brooks says she’s “having the time of my life” as she heads into week three.
“It’s been quite honestly life-changing, and it’s been emotional and hard work and physically and mentally, everything [is] Challenging, I really love and appreciate it. I meet with Gleb every day for five hours and it’s a treat.”
Gleb says she’s “very proud” of the model, who earned a 20/30 from the judges for the routine.
“I think she has a great awareness of her body, obviously great coordination and is physically, aesthetically very beautiful, no matter what she does,” he praises his partner.

Kleb and Brooks have kept things playful when it comes to the nature of their relationship off the dance floor, but Brooks has seen many changes in her personal life this year. In December, she and her husband of four years, Billy Hare, split.
At the time, her rep told PEOPLE that they had been “living apart for months” and that the split was “amicable.”
In July, she and Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece attended the wedding of Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey together. Both were seen holding hands as they enjoyed the wedding.

Later that month, a source told PEOPLE that she and Tom Brady spent time together over the summer, but noted that things were “normal” between them.
This year has also seen relationship changes for Kleb, who split from model girlfriend Elena Belli in April after nearly three years.
