Tickets for the world’s first luxury airline service for dogs from Westchester to Los Angeles sold out Thursday at 4 p.m.

“We’re excited to take the insights we’ve learned over the years to create an experience that’s completely different from adopting dogs — from the ground to the sky,” Meeker said in a news release Wednesday.

Flights are currently available from Westchester County Airport to Biggin Hill Airport in London and Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.

The airline said that flight attendants are also trained to handle dogs and their needs to suit the travel experience. A “dogs fly first” routine at the start of the flight will include soothing music, scents and colors to soothe the dogs’ anxiety, and the pups will be given noise-cancelling earmuffs, anxiety jackets and all the treats they can imagine.
During takeoff and landing, the dogs can also sip their own fancy drink to help their ears adjust to the pressure of the cabin. Dogs will even be treated to a spa experience 3,000 feet in the air, Meeker said. No cages were found on the Park Air flight. Dogs can sit freely on the seat, bed or even their owner.
In case of a bathroom emergency, Park Air has designated areas for pups to do their business before the flight and emergency cards during the flight.
Up to 15 dogs and their humans are welcome on each flight, but Park Air said it does not sell more than 10 tickets per flight to give the pups space to roam. Children are also not allowed to fly with their furry friends. Each passenger must be at least 18 years of age.
