The final major of the already busy 2024 golf season will be played at Royal Troon for its 152nd weekend with The Open Championship. The world’s oldest golf tournament was held in Troon for the first time in eight years with Claret Jug and A. Record purse from the R&A For the 10th time it will be presented at the site on Sunday.
All eyes were on Rory McIlroy at the start of the tournament as the Northern Irishman played some of the best golf of his career, but he was one.
