When emergency responders were called to his home on Saturday, they found Matthew Perry “passed out in a private Jacuzzi.”
“A bystander brought the man’s head above water to the edge, and firefighters removed him from the water upon their arrival,” a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman told CNN on Monday when asked about the incident. The circumstances surrounding the actor’s death are being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, according to the LAFD.
